Refund policy

At Afghan Ilmak, every hand-knotted masterpiece is created with care, heritage, and timeless craftsmanship. We want you to love your carpet as much as we do. If, however, you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, our return and refund policy is outlined below.


Eligibility for Returns

  • You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your carpet.

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition in which it was received.

  • Original packaging (including any protective wrapping, labels, and certificates of authenticity) must be included.

  • Custom orders, made-to-measure carpets, or items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or refund.


Return Process

  1. Contact our customer care team at ilmakafg2000@gmil.com within 14 days of delivery.

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return.

  3. Once your return is approved, we will provide you with the return instructions.

  4. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.


Refunds

  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable, except in cases of defective or incorrectly shipped items.


Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to replace your item, please initiate a return and place a new order.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) with photos. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
